OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Exactly as the title says. I've got two HyperX ram sticks that used to function fine. I'm not big on constant rgb as it can get very distracting and would set it all to turn off at startup, it was doing just fine until a few days ago when it came out of hibernation with the HyperX ignoring the Omen Gaming Hub and staying in a constant bright rainbow wave no matter the setting.

It's incredibly irritating, and nothing I find online seems to fix it, not even HyperX's own NGENUITY. I'm at the point where if someone can just tell if there's wire to pull from the motherboard to get all the lighting shutdown, I'll do it.

Hello @Iota85 .
Please perform a hardware analysis (UEFI):

Did the UEFI tests, also did extensive component tests and everything comes back as passed. The issue persists.

Do these forums do bumps? Anyway, bump, since this is still a problem. I don't really know what the point of asking me to do a hardware analysis was? If HP's software doesn't find anything, do problems just get ignored?

@Iota85,

Just spit balling here, but have you tried to see if dimming your RAM's RGB's brightness to 25% via your Omen Command Center works?

Kind Regards,

Didn't know dimming was an option! That'll at least be useful in the future. But sadly nope, it'll dim every RGB part except for the ram RGB, which remains permanently bright.
