OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

A few days ago, my Omen would not boot up (power on but would not load Windows). After doing some research I discovered that I had to disable my Secure Boot feature in BOIS. Once I did this my machine loaded Windows. I BIOS version is up to date (F.24) I have read that HP needs to push out a BIOS update to resolve due to recent Windows certificate updates? Is this correct? If so, is there an expected release date?

Thanks for your time.

Greetings,

Refer to this HP Forum thread for a detailed explanation on what's happening with your GT13-1000a PC.

BIOS version F.24 has a Windows 2023 security certificate update/Secure Boot (PK database) problem. Both pieces of this puzzle must be in alignment to effectively use Secure Boot.

HP has indicated a forthcoming BIOS update is in the works, However, there is no definitive future BIOS release date available, at this time, to correct the F.24 BIOS version Secure Boot problem.

You'll have to check HPSA and/or periodically check this HP Site for a future Hana MB SSID 8876 BIOS update.

Thanks for the info. Appreciate it. IT's unfortunate the HP lags behind. I guess I will just have to deal with it until the latest bios version is released.

Thanks again.
