Omen 30L Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Omen 30L desktop is a new unit, it's been about a month.

When I put it into sleep mode, the fan keeps turning on very high for about 10 seconds in every about 5  minutes.

Anyone knows how to fix this issue?

Hi@hnhk,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating its fine fan automatically turning on that not issue.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I would like to inform you that 90C is normal on the gaming computer. I recommend you use the Omen command center to change the settings which suit your needs.

Please refer to the below article for more information.

Thank you for your post.

I've been keep searching for the answer after posting here.

It looks like this issue is related to the sleep modes (S0~S3).

I am new to this  S0 (Normal Powered-On state) mode where it leaves the CPU on.

And it's too bad that this computer only support S0 and it's impossible to switch to S1~S3 sleep modes.

I've give up on fixing the issue and I would just have to use hibernate instead of sleep.
