Hi @Rayho804,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

This can be due to several reasons, such as.

  • Software Conflicts: Conflicts with other software or apps running on your system can cause OMEN Audio Control to close unexpectedly.
  • Corrupted Installation: The OMEN Audio Control app might have a corrupted installation or missing files.
  • Driver Issues: Outdated or incompatible audio drivers might be causing the app to crash.
  • System Updates: Sometimes, recent system updates or patches can introduce incompatibilities.

Troubleshooting Steps

Update the App and Drivers:

  • Check for updates for the OMEN Audio Control app.
  • Update your audio drivers through the HP Support website or Device Manager.

Reinstall the App:

  • Uninstall the OMEN Audio Control app and then reinstall it from the official HP website or the Microsoft Store.

Check for System Updates:

  • Ensure that your Windows operating system is fully updated.

Run System Diagnostics:

  • Use the HP Support Assistant to run diagnostics and check for any hardware or software issues.

Check Event Viewer:

  • Look for error messages related to OMEN Audio Control in the Windows Event Viewer that might give more information about the cause.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
