My Windows did an update and now the omen gaming hub is not detecting my rgb in fans or the ram. It did prior as it’s what I use to control the lighting on them for almost a year now. Windows dynamic lighting can still control the fans rgb, and the Kingston fury control software can still control the ram rgb. The rgb on all of them still work fine with the other softwares, it’s just the gaming hub software not detecting them. I checked to make sure everything is connected properly to the internal lighting hub inside the pc. I have already unplugged it and held the power button for 30 seconds to drain power. I have also uninstalled and repaired the omen gaming hub app multiple times and even ran a repair on my windows software. Nothing seems to be working. Is this just a bug with the omen gaming hub that I’ll have to wait until the next update? I have an HP Omen 35l AMD Ryzen 7 with GeForce 4060ti (2024)

after just purchasing this computer today and installing all updates, i have the same issue now. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the gaming hub, and that now says that there are no lighting devices connected. This happened after the BIOS update for me. I've tried everything, don't know what to do. I have no control over lights although they're on. Can't even control in windows.

I have the same issue which appeared after a Windows 11 update too (I think).

Tried reinstalling ect. Windows dynamic lighting still works leaving me to think its not a hardware problem which these posts support.

Was it an HP Bios update? Or windows? I think mine was due to BIOS update. Anybody know a way to revert to old bios firmware?

It was a windows 11 update for me, not bios

I think this issue is caused by the latest Windows update. Since other software still controls the RGB, the hardware is fine. Try turning off Windows Dynamic Lighting or updating Omen Gaming Hub from the Microsoft Store. If it still doesn’t work, it’s probably a bug and HP will need to fix it in the next update.

Can it resume to work after uninstalling KB5064081?

Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates > Find KB5064081 and Uninstall it, then restart PC.

I can confirm uninstalling the latest windows update fixed omen gaming hub and my lighting controls show properly now.
