I have the same issue, OMEN 35L Gaming Desktop PC GT16-0000i, Hope there's a fix soon. It's like it doesn't see the lighting board anymore. Also I noticed the in HWinfo the ram sticks don't show up in the sensor panel anymore.

I have this same issue OMEN 35L Gaming Desktop PC GT16-0000i.  I noticed about a week ago my LED (CPU, fans, and Kingston RAM) would stay on after monitor sleep, which was a new behavior and annoying.  I went to the Omen Gaming Hub to see if I could verify the settings.  It froze up each time I tried to access, multiple restarts, same behavior.  I did an uninstall/reinstall and now it doesn't recognize any devices.

Windows Dynamic Lighting works when I am logged in.  If I lock the PC, the lighting stays on and reverts to rainbow/wave type scheme.  I am not aware of a Win update that did this.  My last Win update was 09/09/2025 KB5064401, KB5065426, KB5065221.

Super frustrating for a 35L I've owned for about four months now.  Shouldn't have these problems and this problem involves devices that are proprietary so there's not a lot of options.

So after a BIOS update I let windows re-update to the latest security version. Gaming Hub now recognises my fans but nothing happens when I change settings ect.....the hardware/lighting doesn't react when I make changes to the software. Windows Lighting works fine to change lighting but for some reason the lights still don't go out when sleeoing. For the prcie of these comptuters ($6k AUD for my 5080 version with accessories) this is a joke.

Ok back to not recognising fans....what a joke.....

It's fixed on my side after installing the latest Windows updates and reinstalling Omen Gaming Hub

Fixed on my side as well! Thank you all for sharing feedback and HP for acknowledging and fixing it. The last OMEN HUB update mentioned specifically this issue in the patch info.

Hey! Just saw this. I had same issue after the update. I just had to go to Dynamic Lightning from Windows and one by one - each fan, the RGB RAM too -  turn off dynamic lightning option for each device. After, OMEN HUB recognizes them again. Hope that helps.

There’s a new update and they patched and fixed the fan/light issue. It’s the most recent windows 11 update !

Yeah, it definitely sounds like something that came from the latest Windows update. I’ve seen a few people mention similar RGB detection issues after recent patches. Windows Dynamic Lighting tends to override other RGB apps sometimes, especially after an update.

You could try going into Settings → Personalization → Dynamic Lighting and toggle it off completely, then restart and open Omen Gaming Hub again. That usually helps the Hub regain control of the lighting.

If that doesn’t work, it’s most likely a temporary compatibility bug, and HP will probably patch it in the next Game Hub update.
