As of 07/06/2024 while powering on PC it was very slow. Checking task manager showed 1000's of Omen Gaming Hubs open and unable to force stop.
Memory was at 100% usage with 64gb
CPU (Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900K) was also at 100%
How i fixed issue:
Uninstall Omen Gaming Hub completely
open file location from task bar and delete all items in that file area
clear recycle bin
restart PC
I really hope that this did not cause any permanent damage.

I had the exact same issue. Started this morning July 7, 2024.
The steps you listed were able to resolve the issue. Just here to vouch.
Personal Opinion: I can’t believe they released this software in this state. Does anyone test this stuff anymore? Completely rendering your PC useless with this issue. If you don’t know what you’re doing or looking at.. I couldn’t imagine trying to fix this. Be better HP. Be better.
