Hi @manojav1204,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues with the Omen Gaming Hub on your Victus by HP 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptop, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. Here's a step-by-step guide.

  • Check System Requirements: Ensure that your laptop meets the system requirements for the Omen Gaming Hub. Check the official HP website or the Omen Gaming Hub documentation for the specific requirements.
  • Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up-to-date. Outdated or incompatible graphics drivers can cause issues with gaming applications. Visit the official website of your graphics card manufacturer (NVIDIA or AMD) to download and install the latest drivers.
  • Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows operating system is up-to-date. Install any pending updates, as these updates may include important patches and improvements.
  • Anti-virus and Firewall: Check if your anti-virus or firewall software is blocking the Omen Gaming Hub. Temporarily disable your anti-virus and firewall, and then try reinstalling the Omen Gaming Hub.
  • Clean Install Omen Gaming Hub: If you've already uninstalled the Omen Gaming Hub, make sure there are no leftover files or registry entries. Use a third-party uninstaller or the built-in Windows uninstaller to remove any remnants of the Omen Gaming Hub.
  • Download from Official Source: Ensure that you are downloading the Omen Gaming Hub from the official HP website or the Microsoft Store. Avoid downloading from third-party sources to prevent potential security issues.
  • Run as Administrator: Right-click on the Omen Gaming Hub installer and choose "Run as Administrator." This ensures that the installation process has the necessary permissions.
  • Check for Background Processes: Check the Task Manager for any background processes related to the Omen Gaming Hub. If there are any, end those processes and try reinstalling.

Remember to back up any important data before making significant changes to your system.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi, There is new OMEN Software and SDK package on line, please follow steps below to update/install:

- Please go to Microsoft Store to update your all OMEN Software, including “OMEN Gaming Hub” and “OMEN Light Studio” to the latest.

- Please execute Windows Update to latest version and all optional updates (especially to install “Realtek - Net - xx.xx.xxx.xxxx” and “HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - x.xx.xxxx.x”), then restart.

- Please delete the file ‘OMENCC_SDK_Pack.log’ under this path ‘C:\System.sav\Logs\’.

- New SDK is uploaded. Please install this package: https://s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/hpcps.support.doc/OMEN/SDK/OMEN_Gaming_Hub_SDK.exe , then restart.
