When I first got the of about a week ago I had the option is the omen gaming hub to turn in ram overclocking to 5200mt/s I bought another ram stick same exact model and storage as other 2 it came with and now I don’t see the over lock option, I guess it’s not a big deal as long as I know it running at the over lock setting. Thanks for the time

Update I kept getting blue screen after about 15 min saying problem occurred need to restart so I unplugged the new ram and now my over locking option is back in omen gaming hub. How do I properly add extra ram? I got same exact specs as other 2 ram cards it came with. Thanks

Even though it came with Kingston Fury that you can buy with the same exact specs, it's proprietary to HP and cannot be combined with any other sticks unless you get them OEM from HP. From what I understand they are quite expensive.
I just got an OMEN 40L that came with Kingston Fury 2x8gb. I wanted to achieve a total of 32gb of RAM, but I already knew that I could not just add the 2x8gb for a total of 4x8gb (upgrading from a 25L). So I ended up with Kington Fury 2x16gb and just don't use the stock RAM at all (apparently with DDR5 it's better to use two sticks instead of four, anyway)
Can you still return those two new sticks you bought? If so, IMO I would suggest hitting your targeted total RAM in two sticks.
