OMEN 25L Desktop - GT11-0012na
Microsoft Windows 11

When I turn on my desktop I get a blue screen presenting an error message. The error displayed seems to change almost each time I turn on the computer. After the blue screen goes the screen turns and remains black.

Hi @Ferris2

Welcome to the HP Forum.

So, based upon your situation, it sounds like you cannot run Windows.

Differing blue screen error messages may point to a RAM problem. Blue screen errors can also be caused by other hardware or various hardware drivers.

I would try running HP Diagnostics at startup.

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key. Select "F2".

Run system tests and component tests.

You could also try each stick of RAM, one at a time, in each MB memory slot to test all memory modules and MB memory slots. You could have a bad stick of RAM or a faulty memory slot.

It is also possible to have a CPU memory controller problem in one memory channel or a MB trace problem between a memory channel or memory slot and  the CPU.

I can only provide some possibilities. I may be way off base.

Regards
