Welcome to the HP English Community --
Custom-to-Order (CTO) products can typically take from one to three months.
Sometimes longer - for example, if the supply chain is broken or the shop is waiting for particular parts to complete the build.
Less often, sometimes shorter if there are not delays AND if you managed to order during a "less busy" time for CTO product purchases.
We can only guess --
Our HP Community Experts have no contact with HP Sales (the Store) nor can we contact the manufacturing departments inside HP.
Should the situation become exceptionally dire at some point -- for example, a month from now?? -- We can ask the Moderators for an assist. That does not mean the Moderator team or agents automatically have an answer -- It does mean that in some circumstances it's possible to throw more resources at a problem and find a solution or at least a reason for the delay.
What else?
If the original build time was estimated as about a month, AND -- assuming everything goes as hoped and there are no delays -- you might receive delivery of the order in the next week or two.
If you can get a hold at someone in Purchasing (at the Store) who can possibly track down the current status of your order, you might be able to get a "closer estimate" for the arrival.

Dragon Opinion
Know that the purchasing department (Store) and the factory where the product is built are far apart in both actual distance and in department structure --
What?
It is not always possible to call up and ask "Where is my so-and-so" and get an answer that might be available in a garage sized company with the purchasing department literally right next to manufacturing.
I've ordered CTO products many times -- sometimes the orders are built and delivered as estimated -- other times not-so-much.
I hope your new computer is delivered sooner rather than later.

I have a question. I ordered a CTO desktop on January 11th this year. It said the ship date would be January 31st (tomorrow). But today, the status still says it's in the queue. Is that a bad sign? It hasn't even moved down to the Gathering Components stage. Yet it's still showing tomorrow as the estimated ship date.
I'm just curious if it's normal to show "In Queue" up until the day before shipping or does it normally move through the other steps long before that?
