HP PC Gamer OMEN 875-0132nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello ! I have this issue with my RAM : the frequency is 1333mhz/s according to CPUZ, even if it is a 2600mhz. I would like to overclock it to get my max capacity, but there is no XMP option in the bios, and no overclocking otption in the Omen command center because it seems that my computer is not one of those allowed to have it.

It is hard to talk about a "gaming pc" with this capped RAM.

If you have any idea...

Thanks !

News : I had HP support on phone, they told me there is no solution. So the Omens computer are just a robery ? We pay for a 2666mhz, and I've been told by HP support that there is NO WAY to get more than 1333mhz ? Just being curious, is this realy a gaming pc ?

Hi, thanks for your answer, but the problem is : I added nothing. It is the original RAM, and nothing more. I don't know what to do with a gaming PC stuck at half his RAM power 😞

this computer, is not new, since when you saw this?
according to the specs you shouldn't have this i think

what is the model of the module?

It was bought by someone else, but the GPU was dead so it has been sent to warranty support and finaly end up to auctions, where I bought it. So basically, it is the same that came out from factory, except that there were no GPU.

You can find specs on the screenshotCapture d’écran 2021-09-26 130637.png

Try to search, because sometimes it does not match exactly and there may indeed be a problem.
I do not know if there is a complete faq on this subject, to better understand
But we can see the module which displays Max 2666, excluding frequency 1333
But since dual channel ultimately it would be the right value 1333 * 2
This is what he says to himself, and seems logical, but for the moment I cannot find a precise article
