Hello, since now 2weeks my pc is booting, but i’m hearing 3 long beeps and 2 short beep, it’s repeating like 5 times then it stop beeping.

On my screen nothing can show up even the bios/uefi.

I’ve searched everyday since 1week and a half the beep signification and i’ve found nothing anywhere, if you could help, thanks.

Hi:

Below is the link to the HP consumer desktop beep code troubleshooting chart, which may help you resolve the problem.

Hello, still not helping for « 3,2 » it says memory problem and i bought a memory kit with the same frequence and test it on every slot and nothing changed, so it’s not the ram (this is what they say in the link you sent).

Unfortunately, I don't know what the problem could be.

Probably the motherboard has failed, or the memory kit you bought is incompatible with your PC.

I recommend one of the compatible Crucial memory modules.  The ones with the green circuit boards.

You can buy this memory in France.  Enter the part number for the memory kit you want in the search window.

Even the beep code chart for the business desktop PC's indicate the same type of issue.

Your PC's beep code does not have a different meaning.

Hello, i am 100% sure the ram i used was compatible, i checked everything before buying so i know the problem doesn’t come from the RAM.

I have 2 questions, could it be the CPU?

If my motherboard is not working anymore, what am i supposed to do, hp do not reseal this type of motherboard, do they?

Unfortunately, I would have no idea if a bad processor could cause the same beep code as a memory issue.

Buying another processor, only to not have the problem solved, would be an expensive gamble.

It does not appear that HP sells your PC's motherboard, as it is not listed on the parts list for your PC.

Hello, thank you for the fast answers, but how am i supposed to deal so, do i have to buy a whole new computer because i can’t change the bad composant from my deficient pc?

You're very welcome.

Since I don't work for or represent HP, unfortunately I don't know what you will be able to do.

You may want to consider taking the PC in to your local repair shop and see if they can figure out what the problem is.

I know I would be very upset having such a new PC break down so soon.
