Hello,
I have a weird problem, my PC just randomly freezes, and after few seconds, it restarts. Then it enters a restarts loop, and there is no way out of it (at least none that I found).
First I tried HP diagnostic tool, but no problem was found.
Then I thought it was windows, so I factory reset the computer. I LOST SO MUCH DATA (I originally tried to reinstall windows but it crushed at some point and I had to factory reset).
But even now it still happens. Any ideas?

Greetings @jalesefm
Welcome back to the Forum.
Your PC looks to be about seven years young. Things start to fail as the PC ages.
Good to see you ran HP Diagnostics. And you tried a factory reset. It's unfortunate you did not back up data before doing the factory reset.
You might be able to locate and recover some data on the drive but that is a different issue. I would not do anything else with the existing system drive if you want to check it for data. But data recovery does not look good at this point.
I am a little fuzzy on the factory reset event. Were you able to get Windows running again after doing a factory reset? Is the PC freezing while running Windows and then restarting?
Or is the PC power cycling and you have no video output? This would be an unsuccessful POST. This symptom could be a: power supply problem, a MB problem, or any other component connected to the MB.
Don't know where to go until we clear up the preceding questions.
Regards

Thank you for your response.
After factory reset, my PC runs windows, I can see the desktop coming up, and some times I have enough time to open some applications before the reset.
Everything runs very smoothly until the resets happen, like it always did (I take good care of my things).

Greetings @jalesefm
My pleasure.
Thanks for the additional info.
This sounds like a Windows restart problem.
Your PC might be blue screening. The blue screen error message can sometimes help to diagnose the problem.
Hopefully you will have enough time to do the following:
Enter Advanced System Properties in search. Select the result.
Select Settings in Startup and Recovery which is located in the Advanced tab.
Uncheck automatically restart and click okay. Click okay again.
The PC should blue screen the next time it does a restart.
Get back to the Forum with any blue screen error codes you might see.
