The specs are:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700F CPU @ 3.00GHz

RTX 2060

16 GB System Memory

8GB Kingston 2666MHz

8GB Kingston 2666MHz

 

I have just bought this Pc 2 days ago and whenever I log into a game, at a certain point my monitor loses signal from the computer and I have to manaully restart the computer in order for it to connect to the monitor again. Then I updated my drivers and everything else that needed updating and the same result. Then I downloaded a software to check my GPU temperature and I found out that my GPU temp in game was reaching 90 degrees even after I increased the fan speed. So I am not sure what to do since my PC keeps overheating and losing signal from my monitor even after increasing the fan speed.

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

I am pretty sure the Obelisk has one rear 120 mm chassis fan, a blower style Nvidia graphics card, and CPU cooling (could be a heatsink/fan or liquid cooling).

 

You have a lot of heat in the CPU, GPU, VRM area on the motherboard.

 

I would think you need to move more hot air out of the chassis to reduce graphics card temps.

 

Can you add a front chassis fan? I have never worked on this chassis so I don't know if you have the option to add a front 120 mm fan to bring more cool air into the case.

 

I don't know what else to say. You will not have a good gaming experience if you cannot reduce GPU temps.
