Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2170m CTO

I was trying to add GeForce rtx 3060 to my PC. I didn’t realize my PC needed a 500w power supply. Is there a way to upgrade the power supply?

@nanderson171414 , welcome to the Community.

 

The motherboard in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP.  HP has a 500W PSU (L05757-800) that should be compatible with your motherboard.  You should contact their Customer Support to see if they have one to sell you.  This would be the minimum that would be necessary to run the RTX 3060 properly.  Upgrading other components would be limited.
