Hi! I am just wondering if anyone know if the processor in the Omen 870-121no is permanently sticked to the motherboard? So can i switch out the cpu or can i not?

Ill also add, just to back up what Paul has already said.
LGA-1151 and LGA-1151 V2 is not cross compatible. You cannot take an i9 CPU and make it work in an 1151 V1, even though the pin-outs look the same. There is no bios update that can fix that. Its a difference in chipset's.
