Question about BIOS update/ HP Windows Firmware 15.24.0.0

Hello, I have a question about the BIOS update as shown in the picture here.
Windows offers me a firmware update that is not listed on the HP driver page
I'm unsure what this update does?
I didn't find a changelog either

or does this update have something to do with Intel's problems?

Welcome to the HP Forum.

HP firmware updates offered by Windows Update may cause problems.

I would not do this Windows update.

You can stop HP firmware updates offered by Windows as follows:

Enter Advanced System Settings in Search. Select the appropriate search result.

Select the Hardware tab within the System Properties dialog box.

Select Device Installation Settings. Select No. Save changes. Select Apply then OK.

Have you heard about the problems at Intel?

I'm a little worried about my systems
I have a system with I9 13900K
and a system with I9 14900K

I operate both systems as standard
no OC setting
except XMP

I'm just a little worried

or do you know whether this degradation has already occurred with HP Omen?

My pleasure.

The Intel CPU degradation problem is partially traceable to retail MB manufacturers (Asus, MSI, Asrock, and Gigabyte).

The above MB OEMs are pushing too much power, at stock factory BIOS settings, to the Intel CPUs. 

HP would not do this as it would be a very unwise business decision.

I have an ASUS AMD MB running a Ryzen 7900X. I am undervolting the CPU and have set a 85 C thermal limit to stop seeing the CPU pin at 95 C when testing CPU stability.
