Hi Sir,
I'm writing this regarding the RAM upgrade. I'm more confused of what hardware installed in my HP new laptop PC 15-ec0101AX. If I'm trying to upgrade to another 16 GB memory. I'm not quite sure upto what my expansion slot supports. I mean 2400 MHZ/ 2666 MHZ/3200 MHZ. I got this confusion once I stepped into Hp Support Assistant specification windows. It clearly shows below memory specs but in the task manager it shows only 2400 MHZ ram speed. Kindly confirm so that I can buy and I don't want to install wrong hardware to make my motherboard to suffer.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06619143
It has 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now. You can install 2666MHz or 3200MHz but machine will run at 2400MHz.
Regards.
