Sent HP sales a chat to purchase an additional 16gb stick of ram to increase my system to 32g. I was told the Hyper X Fury HP37D4U1S8HC-16x was the correct stick so I purchased from HP. I received and installed and now my ram speed is stuck at 2400 instead of 3200. I can't find an option in the bios to increase the speed. Is this not the correct ram, or is there something else that I need to do to get this working at the correct speed?

Hi @CLRied ,
Enter the BIOS and check if you have the option to change the frequency setting, or update the BIOS.

I didnt notice the hyper link you posted. I was able to update the bios and now have option to change memory settings. I removed the extra 16gb stick but the computer is still at 2400mhz instead of 3200. Are there default settings I need to manually reenter?

you must change select profile 1 first , or use manual entry, if the first one does not work.
