I've just bought this system. Love it but I want to  double memory from 16gb to 32gb.  i've done lots of research and i'm more wary than ever about buying the wrong sticks.  I've seen loads of questions and answers about upgrading memory for HP systems. Most answers lead me to beleive this can be problematic.

I found the exact same sticks that are in my PC (according to HP techsheet) on Kingston website.

Could I simply replace 2 x 8gb sticks with 2 x 16gb sticks ?

https://www.kingston.com/unitedkingdom/en/memory/gaming/kingston-fury-beast-ddr5-rgb-memory.

or possibly add 2 x 8gb sticks to whats already intalled?

I'm hoping this may work automatically but I have instructions (via HP website) on  'Configuring XMP compatible memory that is NOT certified by HP'.  I havent done this before and I don't know what all the settings are but i'm confident enough to try , as long as i won't brick my system.

I've read that to be 100% sure of compatability i should buy HP approved RAM but i can't find anywhere to buy this.

Anyway. Thats my issue. I'd be grateful for some advice.

Thank you. PAUL

Yes, its specs

You can simply replace 2x8GB using 2x16GB to get 32GB. You can also add 2x16GB more to get 64GB (4x16GB).

Regards.

Thank You,  Much appreciated.  I'd not seen that list of configurations before, Very useful.
