Hi

I’m considering a new Omen 30L. Regarding memory, what’s the difference between XMP SDRAM and XMP RGB SDRAM?

Hello @saz25 

 

RGB = red, blue and green LEDs. The ram has LED lighting on the top that produces a rainbow of colors.

Note that the Omen cannot control the ram lighting. But Kingston (the MFG of that ram) has an app that is supposed to control it.

Is anything else in the Omen have LED lighting ?

Need I really answer that? Its totally up to you if you want the fancy lighting.

The case will have Red lighting inside or some models have different options including RGB fans, case lighting, etc.
