Ram compatibility

Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone knew if this gaming desktop I purchased (HP Pavilion TG01-0030) is compatible with the HyperX Fury 8GB 2666MHz DDR4 CL16 DIMM ram I bought. I heard that if it’s not compatible it could fry my processor and I’m worried I didn’t get the right kind. Also, I’m not entirely sure if the Operating system is Windows 10 64-bit, so I’m sorry for any confusion.

It has  8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now and supports 32GB max. You can upgrade to

   (a) 16GB: add same existing RAM to slot 2 or using the following RAM  (RAM will run at 2666MHz)

   (b) 32GB: install 16GB each to both slots  using the following RAM  (RAM will run at 2666MHz)

You should be fine with any 2666mhz DDR4 ram and above, just keep in mind that the higher frequency ones will default to 2666mhz (3600mhz for example), some 3200mhz will default to 2400mhz.

HyperX Fury 8GB 3200MHz DDR4 CL16 DIMM I bought 2 of these will these be fine in my hp it's the same as the OP.

They will be fine, just know that they are not going to run at 3200mhz by default.

I bought a evga 750 watt psu I think it will fit I might have to make some modifications but I dont think 400watt is enough though.

Enough for what? The 400w PSU is plenty powerful.
