Omen 880-068
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a omen 880-068 which comes with 8gb of ram already but i also like to add another 8gb ram for 16gb. A buddy of mine told me that the new ram needs to be compatible with my current system and the existing stick but also the timings of the new stick need to match with the timings of the existing stick. I would help trying to find a stick that would work with mine any recommendations would be great. My timings of my existing stick are.. CPU-Z 9_13_2019 10_20_55 PM.png

Would be best to buy complementary (matching) part, i.e. the same exact module you already have. You can find these details under SPD tab.

By doing this you can ensure that RAM whilst working in dual-channel mode will not give you any sorrows.

But this RAM might be expensive - or might even not be available easily - as HP procures it from some rather unpopular sources.

(That's exactly what I did myself)
