Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi I keep getting random frame drops once in a while. It’ll go from 160 to 8 or 10 frames. Very annoying considering I have a hp omen 40l. Im playing old games that aren’t even that powerful. Even on low settings i experience these random frame drops.

@Jniners , welcome to the Community.

 

The main cause of random frame-rate drops is out-of-date video drivers.  Make certain that these are the latest version.  The computer may be over-heating.  Check to assure the temps are good while gaming.  Last, if you are gaming online you may have a slow Internet connection.
