HP Omen 880-139nx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought two 8GB Hyperx Fury 2666 ram to add to my Hyperx Fury 2666 ram that is already installed.

When plugged it in and after pressing the power button, my pc got stuck in an unlimited restart loop. "On, off, on and off". I had to unplug the power to stop. Then tried again for two times still the same issue.

Is it bad ram sticks or Bios? What should I do? Hate to waste the new ram I paid for and not being able to use it!

@ProfFiras95 , welcome back to the forum.

I suggest that you run CPU-Z to get the timings of the existing memory to assure that it matches the new memory.  This information is in the tab titled "SPD".  If it doesn't match, this is most likely the problem.  If it matches, you should contact the memory manufacturer's Tech Support to see if they can help you.  They are the experts on their products.

Here is the Product Specifications page.  Look at the section titled "Memory/Memory upgrade information".

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
