Hello, I have an HP OMEN 30L Desktop

with the latest BIOS F.24 (10/08/2025).
After several attempts to enable Secure Boot (needed for Valorant – VAN9003 error) I’m stuck with the following situation:
Secure Boot is set to Enabled in BIOS
HP Factory Default Keys loaded (Platform Key shows “Registered”)
TPM State = Yes (enabled in BIOS)
TPM Device = Available
Multiple TPM clears done
Fast Boot disabled, cold boots done
Problems:
Every single boot I get the TPM data inconsistency prompt (F1/F2) – I always press F2
In Windows:
msinfo32 → Secure Boot State: Disabled
tpm.msc → “Cannot find a compatible TPM”
I need Secure Boot fully active. I’ve tried everything in the community guides but nothing works.
Is there a hidden TPM firmware update or a remote fix for this model?
Thank you!

Greetings @iacop0

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Secure Boot and TPM are separate Windows security features.

Each security option can run without the other. And Windows 11 runs fine.

You can turn off both security features. W11 will continue to work.

But some games may require both security features. Some games only require the latest TPM 2.0 manufacturing version.

HP is aware of, and is working on, both problems.

BTW, it is going to take time to fix all affected MBs.

You will have to periodically check your HP PC's driver download site for a future BIOS update which fixes the TPM 2.0 manufacturing version problem and the Secure Boot (PK) database issue.

HP Support Assistant would eventually push the needed BIOS update to your PC. But you might get this update faster if you routinely check your PC's driver download site.

There is no quick fix to this problem.

Thanks for the reply, I'll wait for the update. Can I also check it from the "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics" app, or do I have to look on the website?
n the site there is the bios update which is from October 19, 2025. which is the F.24 rev.A, can you confirm that I have to wait for a new update which will be released hopefully soon, on that site?

Greetings @iacop0

My pleasure.

I thought your PC was using BIOS version F.24 now.

The October, 2025 BIOS update (F.24) at the HP driver download site would probably not have the fixes your PC needs. You'll have to look for a November, 2025, or December, 2025, or possibly a 2026 BIOS update.

I did not know you could do BIOS updates using the HP Diagnostics App. HP Support Assistant does driver updates and Firmware updates.

Windows Update has also been pushing: driver and Firmware updates to many PCs.

You would probably find the future BIOS update your PC needs faster by periodically checking the driver download site for your specific HP PC.

Opinions or troubleshooting suggestions in this response are provided independently. I am not employed by: HP, Inc. or the HP Forum.

I think HP dropped the ball concerning the Secure Boot (PK) database issue and the TPM 2.0 manufacturing version issue.

But it is what it is.

Either: be patient or jump ship if you the have money to buy a new PC.

Consider yourself blessed if not being able to play a couple of games is the worst event you have experienced over the last few months.

this is already going for over 8 months now and HP is not taking action at all, i recently received an BIOS update (14-11-2025) this update made it even worse... i cant even access stuff within bios and all the other Fkey options are also not working....

Well done HP great customer service / caring....

I will reply to your comment because I am in the same situation as you are with the TPM.

How is it possible that HP is not doing anything to solve this issue with their motherboards?

All games that use TPM 2.0 for anti-cheat cannot be played. I'm surprised to see that more affected customers aren't complaining, but we're talking about a problem on a PC that still sells for €1,000 today.

Hopefully someone at HP will take notice soon, but for now, we need to keep discussing the issue in forums so that people are aware of it and HP's practices with its products.

so we can confirm that there are no other possible solutions, not even going back to an old bios version, or resetting the PC, I don't know what to do. do we have to wait for someone from HP to create a bios update?
