Hi @Jacques_224,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand how  it must feel to see a Secure Boot violation message right after you’ve been carefully cleaning your PC.

Could you please  confirm whether any other components besides the RAM were disconnected during cleaning?

Here are a few steps you can try right away:

Check BIOS settings: Restart your PC, press F10 to enter BIOS, and verify that Secure Boot is enabled and the boot mode is set correctly (UEFI, not Legacy).

Reseat RAM modules: Power off completely, unplug the system, and carefully reinsert the RAM sticks to ensure they’re seated properly.

Update BIOS: If the BIOS is outdated, updating it from HP’s support website https://support.hp.com/  may fix Secure Boot signature mismatches.

Check boot drive: Make sure your SSD/HDD cables are firmly connected, as Secure Boot relies on valid boot signatures from the drive.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
