I would like to have a dual monitor system and was wondering if a hdmi splitter will help. I saw the computer had only one HDMI port and I would like to have the two monitor display two different screens. E.g. Word on one screen and Google chrome for research on the other.

Hello @ChibiKittyKat
Search is offline at the moment so I cant bring up the specs. But You probably have several DisplayPorts and one HDMI, correct?
You simply get a displayport adapter to HDMI and connect to the second monitor that way.
Not a splitter.
Does that make sense? Let me know.
