I've been having issues with my desktop shutting down on its own after I have put it in sleep mode. Time does not seem to be a factor as sometimes it will remain in sleep mode for more than a day, while other times I will be away from the desktop for a couple of hours and come back to find it completely off. At first I thought  I was accidentally choosing "shut down" but I have made sure to be careful and still having this happen. Any help would be amazing!

you don't say what happened before.?!
It is the same computer, it had problems, that it was done, a solution had been applied I suppose?
If you remove the standby options, the computer is still active
will the result be the same?
Is it totally off when you come back, absolutely a sign, you restart with the button normally start?

Beep code issues were handled by HP support. Still have the same desktop, have not had any issues for a while. Just now noticing that the pc will sometimes shut down completely on its own when I put it in sleep mode. Figured I would start here and see if there were others with similar issues.

Ok, but maybe no report, but you don't tell me what was done?
And so did you try without sleep mode?

Not sure what you mean? If you are asking about the beep codes those were a while ago and I do not remember what support did to remedy.
