Hi @Norvzy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out. I understand you're experiencing two issues: Bluetooth headphones stop playing audio after the notebook has been running for some time, and you're also seeing occasional screen flickering with lines appearing at the top of the display.

For the Bluetooth issue, please try the following recommended troubleshooting steps:

  1. Open Device Manager and confirm that Bluetooth is listed.
Opening Device Manager and Bluetooth Displays
  2. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled. In Device Manager, expand Bluetooth and verify the Bluetooth adapter is enabled.
  3. Remove any potential wireless interference:
    • Move the headphones closer to the notebook.
    • Turn off Bluetooth on nearby devices that are not in use.
  4. Restart both the notebook and the Bluetooth headphones.
  5. Check Airplane mode settings and ensure:
    • Airplane mode is off
    • Bluetooth is On
      Displaying Airplane mode
  6. Check for Bluetooth driver updates:
    • Open Device Manager
    • Expand Bluetooth
    • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter
    • Select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers
  7. If the issue persists:
    • In Device Manager, right-click the Bluetooth device
    • Select Uninstall device
    • Restart the notebook
    • Pair the headphones again and test.

Regarding the screen flickering and lines at the top of the display, could you please share the exact HP notebook model and let us know whether the flickering occurs only on the laptop screen or also on an external monitor (if available)? That will help us determine the appropriate next steps.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
