Hello, 

I have an old hp 2009m that I connected to my PS4. I have successfully done this but the sound on the monitor does not work. The volume on the screen is all the way up, and the setting on the PS4 is correct for the audio. Is there a way to fix this?

@itszjosephine , welcome to the forum.

 

I believe that your problem may be caused by the fact that you will need to connect another cable to get sound.  The DVI-D and VGA connectors don't provide sound to the monitor, unlike HDMI.  I suggest that you go to the PS4, Customer Support, website for further help.
