I moved the internals of my HP Omen 870-213w to a new case. The case has 4 fans on it. I plugged one of them into the fan header on the motherboard and the rest in the psu that I had purchased. On first boot it popped up an error message that i have seen on the forums but with no answer to my problem. I believe it was 90b system fan not working properly. The fans work fine as i finally just unhooked it from the system fan header on the mobo and hooked them all up to the psu. Are there certain requirements for the case fans for this motherboard? Is there a way to shut off the monitoring of the fans. It probably wont be a big issue most of the time to just hit enter and skip past the message but if you miss that window for about 15-25 secs it automatically shuts the pc back off. I have followed the support help and it did not help. I have tried multiple fans and they all give the same result. The only thing i can think of is that they have led lights on them and that may be messing with the sensor somehow.

Hi
I don't think you can avoid this unless you connect the HP fan to the correct motherboard fan header.
The motherboard may be looking at fan startup RPMs on this fan header. HP does not provide fan profile settings in the BIOS.
The new case has larger fans which spin at lower speeds.
You may not be able to install the HP fan in the new case because of its size. You may have to deal with this fan boot error message or try a fan with higher minimum RPMs.
