Installing more RAM shouldn't typically cause issues with your PC's ability to send a signal to your monitors. However, here are some potential causes and troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

Potential Causes

1. *Loose Connections*: Check that all cables, including HDMI, DisplayPort, and power cords, are securely connected to both the PC and monitors.

2. *RAM Installation Issues*: Ensure the new RAM is properly seated and configured in the motherboard. Check the motherboard manual for specific instructions.

3. *BIOS Settings*: The new RAM might require updated BIOS settings. Enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F2, F12, or Del) and check for any RAM-related settings.

4. *Graphics Card Issues*: If your Omen 35L has a dedicated graphics card, ensure it's properly seated and connected. Try removing any additional graphics cards and see if the issue persists.

5. *Monitor Settings*: Verify that the monitors are set to the correct input (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) and that they're not in a powersaving mode.

Troubleshooting Steps

1. *Power Cycle*: Turn off your PC, unplug the power cord, and press the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any residual power. Then, plug the power cord back in and try booting up again.

2. *Try a Different Graphics Output*: If you're using an NVIDIA graphics card, try switching to the Intel integrated graphics (if available) or vice versa.

3. *Reinstall Graphics Drivers*: Go to the NVIDIA or AMD website, download the latest drivers for your graphics card, and reinstall them.

4. *Reset BIOS to Default*: Enter the BIOS setup and reset the settings to their default values.

5. *Try a Different Monitor or Cable*: Swap the monitors or try using a different cable to rule out any issues with the display hardware.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to consider:

- Contacting HP support for further assistance

- Visiting a local computer hardware expert for hands-on troubleshooting

- Reverting the RAM upgrade to see if the issue persists

Remember to handle electrical components with care, and ensure you're grounded to prevent static electricity damage.
