I use G-skill trident z royale ram kits and receive the stop code memory_management.

Im currently using the windows memory tool to check the memory.

“Hardware problems are detected” 

Is the ram I’m using no good for this system? Should I use different ram sticks?

Please help!

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

I would guess the G-Skill memory kit has a problem; you may have a bad stick of G-Skill RAM, or your PC's MB does not like this RAM. 

 

Some HP MBs are very finicky with third party memory modules.

 

How many sticks of RAM did you purchase? Run memory diagnostics using each stick of RAM, one at a time in each memory slot, to see how it goes.

 

I usually recommend Crucial Memory for GT-13 PCs. Crucial has a memory Scanner and guarantees memory compatibility.

 

And, @NonSequitur777 can suggest additional memory upgrade options.

Hello Bill_to!

I have contacted Crucial support and I have found success in which memory upgrade that I should pursue.

Memory model CT2K16G4DFRA32A from crucial memory line was suggested from one of their support team.

I will look into this further and may purchase them when the time is right.

Many thanks for the Crucial recommendation as I have been looking for an upgrade for some time!
