I am currently running Windows 11 so I know that my PC should have TPM 2.0. But, the specs say 3.94.0.5, Specification 2.0, and yet games that require TPM 2.0 still give me errors and say I don’t have it.

My BIOS version is F.30 and TPM is available and enabled. I have updated my BIOS to the most current and cleared the TPM multiple times to no success.

Not sure what to do from here.

Greetings

Yes the HP: AMD B550 or older AMD MBs need a TPM 2.0 manufacturing version update.

HP Forum Administrators and the HP support team have been aware of the AMD TPM 2.0 version problem since 2025. Please see this HP Forum Thread.

Some HP MBs have received a TPM update, some HP MBs have not.

You'll just have to wait it out to see if your MB gets a BIOS update to fix this problem. Check this HP Site for a recent or future BIOS update or wait for a HP Support Assistant BIOS update.

I have a retail AMD B550 MB. The MB OEM (MSI) has finally (2026) released a BIOS update to fix the TPM 2.0 version problem and the expiring Windows Secure Boot security certificate problem.

I don't work for HP so I cannot tell you if, or when, your HP MB will receive the required BIOS update.

@akalr,

Because HP has been slow to deploy universal BIOS fixes, the latest work-around I found that worked at least for some users is to force the motherboard to refresh its security status:

1.) Break the Link: Enter BIOS (F10), disable the TPM device, clear the existing TPM data, and reboot into Windows.

2.) Force Factory Key Enrollment: Reboot back into the BIOS, locate the Secure Boot settings, select Clear Secure Boot Keys, and then select Load HP Factory Default Keys.

3.) Re-engage Security: Turn Secure Boot to Enabled, re-enable the TPM State, save changes, and boot back into Windows.

This dance supposedly forces the HP motherboard to cleanly re-enroll its platform security certificates, which usually satisfies the game's attestation wizard without needing an official patch from HP.

Worth a try at least!

[EDIT:] I missed the specific motherboard trap affecting the Omen 30L GT13 series. Models with that specific AMD baseboard (like the Mori or Hana 87C3/8876) will absolutely glitch or soft-brick if you try to force manual factory key enrollment, because the underlying firmware cannot reconstruct the modern cryptographic keys the game is looking for.

Since HP's F.32 BIOS update still leaves these specific systems stuck with an obsolete TPM version (3.84.0.5), you cannot fix this inside your BIOS menu. Instead, the only current way some Omen 30L users are successfully bypassing the block is by forcing Windows to generate a new user token outside of the hardware layer:

  1. Navigate to your Call of Duty installation folder on your desktop.
  2. Locate cod broker service and enroll Aik.
  3. Right-click each executable, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and check Run this program as an administrator.
  4. Launch the game. When the 'Attestation Wizard' pops up, spam the 'Dismiss/Play' button. This is supposed to force the game client to bypass the local hardware log check and check your active Windows token instead.

But let's be crystal clear: until HP pushes a dedicated BIOS patch specifically upgrading the AMD fTPM version for the 30L lineup, traditional BIOS workarounds are a dead end for your exact machine.

Kind Regards,
