OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0010

I need tpm 2.0 to play league of legends. I read that you should check for a bios update and there was one from 2023 that i downloaded today (haven't used this computer for a while) but it didn't fix the issue. Went into the bios menu on a restart to clear the tpm, that didn't work either. Really need help, i don't know how to clear the error code so tpm can work properly.

I have an hp omen obelisk 875-0010, everything factory. bios is ami f.38 and the motherboard model is 84fe if that helps.

Hi @kza810

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

If you are encountering a Code 10 error with TPM 2.0 and have already tried updating your BIOS, Your HP Omen Obelisk’s TPM 2.0 “Code 10” error means Windows cannot start the TPM device, usually due to firmware mismatch, driver corruption, or hardware initialization issues. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Check BIOS Settings

  • Restart → Keep tapping on F10 >Enter BIOS (F10 or Esc → BIOS Setup).
  • Under Security → TPM Device, ensure TPM is enabled and set to TPM 2.0 (not 1.2).
  • Save and exit.

Clear TPM in Windows

  • Press Win + R, type tpm.msc.
  • In the TPM Management console, click Clear TPM.
  • Restart and follow prompts.

Reinstall TPM Driver

  • Open Device Manager → Security Devices → Trusted Platform Module 2.0.
  • Right-click → Uninstall device.
  • Restart → Windows will reinstall automatically.
  • If not, download the latest Intel TPM driver from HP’s support page for the Omen Obelisk.

Update Windows

  • Ensure you’re on the latest Windows 10/11 build. TPM errors are often patched in cumulative updates.
  • Run Windows Update and install optional updates too. https://support.hp.com/au-en/products

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.

I appreciate the response. I may have an outdated bios version because I can't set the tpm to 2.0 and not 1.2, i can only enable it which it was set to by default. I also tried clearing tpm and uninstalling to fix it as well with no luck. i updated to the latest windows 11 version today and it said my amdryzenmasterdriver.sys couldn't load on the device (likely because of the tpm security setting problem).

Do you happen to have a link to download the latest intel tpm driver that would work for my pc? I didnt see anything for that on the support page. I've been at this for a week and I'm willing to try anything.
