Hi! I am looking to see if there is an update or more information on BIOS updates for the 87C3 MB that will bring the GT13-0024 into Attestation compliance with games I am trying to play. I haven't read (so far) of anyone having the following issue yet so I will ask: I am running Windows 11, but when I auto-detect from HP's site it only gives me the option for Windows 10 drivers. Is there something I should be doing differently to download new MB drivers?

OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-0xxx
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor
F.32-03/31/2025
87C3

Thank you!

Hi @DAT92,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP OMEN 30L GT13‑0024 (87C3 motherboard, Ryzen 7 3700X), here’s what’s going on with TPM/BIOS updates and why you’re only seeing Windows 10 drivers on HP’s site I would request you to please follow the steps:

Enable TPM 2.0 in BIOS

  • Restart → press Esc → F10 to enter BIOS.
  • Go to Security → TPM Device.
  • Ensure TPM 2.0 is enabled (sometimes listed as “fTPM” for AMD CPUs).
  • Save and exit.

Enable Secure Boot

  • In BIOS → Boot Options.
  • Set Boot Mode = UEFI.
  • Enable Secure Boot.
  • Save and reboot.

Windows 11 Driver

  • HP’s auto‑detect tool often defaults to Windows 10 drivers, but they are fully compatible with Windows 11.
  • Install the latest chipset, graphics, and network drivers from HP’s support page for your GT13‑0024.
  • For NVIDIA MX250 or AMD GPU drivers, use NVIDIA GeForce Experience or AMD Adrenalin directly for the newest builds.

Update BIOS

  • Go to HP Support → Drivers & Software and enter your serial/product number.
  • Choose the BIOS listed (even if under Windows 10).
  • Download and run the BIOS update utility.
  • It will reboot and flash the new BIOS version.
  • Reboot and check BIOS version again to confirm the update

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!

Hi @Pallipurath, thanks for the reply!

I followed the below steps and have a BIOS version of F.32. I still am having issues due to the TPM manufacturer version being 3.xx.0.x while the specification version is 2.0. Are there any steps that can be taken to rectify this issue?

Some other data that might be useful:

BIOS mode: UEFI
Secure Boot State: On

Thanks again!

Hi @DAT92,

Thank you for responding.

I’m sorry to hear that the issue is not yet resolved. Please be informed that the latest BIOS version currently available for the OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-0000i is F.30 Rev.A (13.2 MB), released on January 6, 2025.

At this time, we kindly request that you please wait until HP officially publishes any newer updates on the support website. Once a new BIOS version is publicly released, it will be available for download from the HP Support page for your specific model.
