As of right now I have TPM 2.0 enabled with version 3.94.0.5 (AMD). I have the most recent BIOS update. Is there any way to get a driver for an updated version of TPM? or is this the latest I can get and I'm sol?

Hi @jarbeefis

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for sharing those details—it's completely understandable to want the most up-to-date TPM firmware, especially when you're already running the latest BIOS and keeping your system secure.

For your OMEN by HP 40L Gaming Desktop PC GT21-0000a, the TPM version 3.94.0.5 (AMD) is currently the latest available firmware provided through HP’s official channels. AMD-based TPM modules typically receive updates bundled with BIOS releases, not as standalone drivers. Since you've already installed the most recent BIOS, it’s likely that you're on the latest supported TPM firmware for your platform.

That said, here are a few steps you can take to double-check and stay ahead:

HP Drivers & Software Page
Visit the official support page for your desktop to confirm there are no newer firmware packages:

AMD Firmware Updates
Occasionally, AMD releases TPM firmware updates directly. You can check AMD’s support site for any updates related to fTPM modules:
AMD Drivers and Support

Windows Update
TPM firmware updates may also be delivered via Windows Update. Make sure optional updates are enabled and check under “View optional updates” in the Windows Update settings.

TPM Management Console
You can monitor TPM status and version using tpm.msc:

  • Press Win + R, type tpm.msc, and hit Enter.
  • This will show the current version and status of your TPM.

If none of these sources offer a newer version, then yes—you're likely on the latest available firmware for your system. Still, you're not out of luck: keeping BIOS and Windows updates active ensures you'll receive any future TPM updates automatically.

Let me know if you'd like help checking any of those pages or interpreting what you find.

This problem is a persistent bug and is not fixed by the recent BIOS update of Sept. 2025, F28.
I contacted HP and I was told, that my 3 year old HP Victus 15L has a hardware problem and should be sent in for repair. Unfortunately, there are no parts to repair, so it can't be repaired. So you're out of luck.

Your exspensive HP Gaming PC is only suited for games, which does not requier TPM 2.0. You have TPM built in, it's just not working. HP Gaming PC suited only for playing Solitaire and Chess.
