HP is so slow. Some manufacturers have already provided an update for the BIOS. I think we definitely miss the early beta and the open beta too

Yeah my device (Omen 15 Laptop) got it's last BIOS update on 2nd September which changed TPM version from 3.92.0.5 to 3.93.0.5 still having the same buggy TPM version.

I'm hoping for new update with this new months starting but chances are very slim of getting one

In case HP doesn't know what we're talking about.

TPM Attestation Failure on AMD Platforms with ASP fTPM

I’ve run into this before with COD. Even though TPM + Secure Boot show as enabled in BIOS, the game can still flag it. A few things to try:

  • Go back into BIOS and make sure the correct TPM option is turned on (sometimes it’s listed as fTPM, PTT, or dTPM depending on your CPU/motherboard).

  • In Windows, open Windows Security → Device Security → Security processor details to confirm it’s actually TPM 2.0 and that it’s ready for use.

  • Check your motherboard’s support page — a lot of vendors (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, etc.) pushed out BIOS/firmware updates to fix TPM compatibility issues.

  • If TPM looks fine everywhere else, try repairing/reinstalling COD’s Easy Anti-Cheat. Sometimes the error comes from that, not the TPM itself.

If you share your motherboard/CPU model, I can point you straight to the right firmware update.

Hello Community,

The dedicated backend team has suggested the following steps to help resolve the issue. Please give them a try.

Disable any antivirus on the computer and run image diagnostics.

Link: HP ImageDiags | HP Client Management Solutions

Steps:
Note: Temporarily disable the antivirus.

1. Download the ImageDiags 4.x or 5 version.
2. Extract the file and run the setup file.
3. Follow onscreen instructions
NOTE: Process takes 30-40 mins

Could you kindly let me know how it goes after following the steps provided above?

Good evening,

This does not solve the issue. You need to update the driver bios like stated in my posts. As other people have mentioned; most (or all?) other manufacturers have released an update by now.

Do you really want to be known as the brand which can't run COD (and other related games with the same security in the future)?

Still hoping for a (quick) release with a bios update.

And to be frank; this install and everything has nothing to do with the issue. I've clearly stated the problem, the solution and links stating all this. I don't really understand what the misunderstanding is within your backend team.

With regards,

Vin
