For Call of Duty we recently need to have TPM enabled with Secureboot, Secure boot is active and so is TPM but in the game it still says its not active (TPM), My question is if i can get support on this and if there is a firmware update for the TPM chip?

Greetings @cryptedmods

I've never seen a TPM issue when playing games if TPM is enabled in W11.

Some folks are having HP PC Secure Boot problem when playing games.

Check all posts in this HP Forum thread for details.

You would have to check your HP PC's driver download site for an updated BIOS which might fix the Secure Boot problem.

I don't know. Maybe your PC is having a different problem if the gaming issue is, in fact, being caused by a TPM problem.

you must be 100% new to pc then or not up-to-date with whats going on in the gaming world

Call of Duty recently added the feature to have TPM enabled and Secureboot Enabled, for me they're both Enabled but ingame it says TPM not enabled refer to this page: https://support.activision.com/articles/trusted-platform-module-and-secure-boot

its experimental in BO6/Warzone now, but in 2 months BO7 drops and its must to have in order to be able to play. so i dont know where u got it from this never been an issue, maybe read more into the gaming world before answering like that.

Also if you have never seen people have issues with TPM just google TPM issue call of duty, il bet you find over 1K issues about this or related to this.

I appreciate your responses. Kudos!

I don't game. I have been building: Workstations and Gaming PCs since 1997.

Well, then post your question in The CODForums.

I would suggest you verify Secure Boot is enabled in Msinfo.

If Secure Boot is enabled then your W11 PC does have a TPM problem. W11 would not be happy if TPM is not enabled.

Or the COD installation has a problem.

@cryptedmods,

I definitely game. My best gaming system as of today can be found here.

So, let's see what I can do for you.

For starters, please provide your PC's model.  Type in System Information in your lower Windows search bar, click on the System Information app, look to the right of "System Model", "System SKU" and "BaseBoard Product" and provide that information.

Kind Regards,

Have at it!

I don't appreciate @cryptedmods' responses.

Some HP users are having Secure Boot (PK) database problems.

I hope you get a civil response from the OP (a troll, I might add).

I'm done with this thread!
