Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-0000a (4H508AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, so i got this issue where my tpm version is amd 3.94.0.5 and i can't play call of duty because it requires the 3.94.2.5 so i want to know if i can maybe roll back to a version where the 3rd number is not a 0 because thats the reason i cant play call of duty or maybe if theres a new tpm version for my pc that doesnt have the 0 as the 3rd number, this is probably one of the worst and frustrating things that can happen to someone, so if theres any solution i would really appreciate it.

Greetings @eriiii

Welcome to the HP Forum.

HP Forum Administrators and the HP support team have been aware of the AMD TPM 2.0 version problem since 2025. Please see this HP Forum Thread.

Some HP MBs have received a TPM update, some HP MBs have not.

You'll just have to wait it out to see if your MB gets a BIOS update to fix this problem.

I have a retail AMD B550 MB. The MB OEM has finally (June 2026) released a BIOS update to fix the TPM 2.0 version problem and the expiring Windows Secure Boot security certificate problem.

The latest BIOS update for my pc was in may if im not wrong for the victus 15l but it still didnt solve the problem of the amd tpm 3.94.0.5 so i need 3.94.2.5 or something that doesn't have a 0 as the 3rd number to play warzone so i need to either downgrade which i can't since the only bios update i can download was the latest one or just wait for a new bios update that's going to fix the tpm error on warzone so i don't really know if this update is coming soon for the victus 15l or the devs won't release an update for this motherboard.(my baseboard product is 89D8)

Greetings @eriiii

I don't work for HP so I don't know if your PC's MB will get the needed BIOS update.

I was surprised to see my retail (MSI) B550 MB OEM release the required BIOS update this month. AMD B550 MBs and older AMD MBs are having a TPM 2.0 version problem.

You will see you are not alone by checking many other TPM manufacturing version problem threads in the HP Forum.

Yea, thats exactly what i did i searched for my exact motherboard on the community chat and it seems like people been having this problem since october 2025 and it wasn't an issue for me because i could just ignore the warning call of duty showed me but now they wont even let me play because of the tpm version... so this will sadly force me to buy a brand new pc because it seems like the devs dont like their job so i might aswell go for msi or intel whatever gets the job done, thank you for trying to help appreciate it.

I really hope they do come out with a new update for the Erica8 motherboard because its such a pity having a pc that performs great on the games that you like but not being able to play them im just praying they give some attention to this motherboard model because i don't want to swap my case motherboard and just rip everything apart just because an error ingame so i guess we'll just wait for updates or spend money for another pc...
