Some come nicely priced & packed with 12th gen i9's/3070's/800w gold psu's,
all in a seemingly beautiful top vented case. But is TWO fans (front/rear) really
enough to maintain appropriate temperatures?? Need to add 2-3 'ceiling' fans'?
Is that an option and/or necessity? Is case vented at bottom, underneath psu?
(HP Chat is absolutely no help with such specifics...straight up used-car sales).

I will not personally give an opinion, about a computer that I have not tested!
but you can always see on the net if there are tests!

hey
it all depends on the exact model
A computer must have to function normally in its original configuration!
some users have reported overheating issues with some hp gaming computers
the best solution found for most, is to disassemble everything, change the case, and keep only the essentials!
Not the best option, for oi, has this account so much to buy another model, or choose a model to configure yourself
So if the computer eventually needs additional fans, it has a problem!

Well, as much as I appreciate that advice, if my 'techno-inept' self
was even tempted to re-configure parts into new case, I'd start over
on one of many online build sites...with skills much better'n my own.
So whattya know about HP Envy TE02-0030 & TE02-0042??
(under-fanned?? although both do have 800w GOLD psu's)

Thanks Promethee,
Completely understand and appreciate hesitance to give model opinions;
if nothing else, you led me to a new source of research/reviews I was not
aware of. This was one of my favorite, concise reviews. All that's missing
is an opinion on whether the 'closed case' has enough fans~circulation (or
if the bottom of the case is vented, similar to the top...which would help).
