Im upgrading my computers case and wondering if the motherboard would fit in a medium sized case, I know that the motherboard is costume made but Im not exactly sure why they took the time to make it like that, anyways does anyone know a medium sized case with good airflow that can support the sunflower motherboard

There are a lot of great cases out there on a very good prices at the moment, but I would advise you if you are making this transition, to simply change the motherboard as well, as you might have fitting issues due to the extended front I/O part of it.

I would love to upgrade the motherboard but I'm on a budget, I'm upgrading my PSU, GPU, and hopefully getting a decent case without having the need to buy a new motherboard, do you have any recommended pc cases that will maybe fit the motherboard?

You laid it out very nicely.
Maybe you need a picture to explain what he meant. The front I/O ports extend outward. Replacement case(s) reserve that area for drives.
