Just purchased an HP Omen 25L gt12-0167c DT Rfrbd PC which came with one SSD + a 1TB HDD. I added a second 4TB drive to the second bay and the BIOS is not seeing it. I swapped the drives and the BIOS then saw the new 4TB but not the original 1TB. Swapped the power cables and reseated the SATA cables on the motherboard + swapped the SATA cables. In every instance, the BIOS only sees the HDD that is connected to SATA port #1. Tried changing to RAID in the BIOS just to see if anything would change but it did now. Thought about buying a cheap SATA PCIe card but then realized there is no slot for it. Any other ideas before I send it in for service? Is the second SATA port being disabled for some reason? Thanks!

Hello
if the computer is ready to receive two hard disks, I do not see why we would disable a SATA port
Seems to me to have read this before, but i have installed multiple hard drive on different models, why would that change it ..
If your original HDD does not work on one or the other, in fact contact the after-sales service, in order to find out more.
