Lately my computer has been really struggling with games that have never been an issue to run before (stuttering when loading new areas after starting a game for example, despite good FPS). I'm not very good with computers so I'm not sure how to troubleshoot exactly what the issue is but I heard that enabling XMP might solve the it. The problem is however that I seem to not have an option in BIOS to enable it. I tried downloading a newer BIOS version from the list of drivers it said were compatible with my computer but I got the message "Bios update is older than current version error" back. Does anyone know what I have to do enable XMP if it's even possible.
I've got a Intel® Core™ i5-7600K processor and 8GB of RAM.
Thanks in advance!
