HP OMEN Desktop PC - 870-290NZ
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there

With the new RTX 3080 out, they recommend a 750W power supply. The HP Desktop PC - 870-290NZ only has a 500W built in.

My questions are:
1) Would the built-in power be enough to use a RTX 3080?
2) If not, is it easily possible to upgrade the power supply and are there recommendations?

Thank you in advance!

@Psykomanta,

The 500W supported the GTX 1080 (180), but the RTX 3080 (320W) is a 140W gain.  A 500W can not handle it.

You need to make measurements.

1) The RTX 3080 is a very lengthy card. Can  it fit?

2) Both EVGA and Corsair have 750W modular PSU's.  Both are slightly longer into the case.
