Hi @Sconus

The 30L does not have front USB 2.0 ports. So the 9 pin MB connector in your image powers the 30L front USB 2.0 card reader.

You can use this USB 2.0 MB header to power front USB 2.0 ports on the Thermaltake case.

HI,
sorry again to bother you, but seeing that you are the TOP for these things I wanted to ask you some questions. I managed to mount all the components including the new heatsink in the new case. You suggested I see a HUB for the management of fans and LEDs, but what product could I use and especially how it should be connected? I saw the Icue pro of Corsair, but as far as I have seen should be connected to make the configuration to the port usb 2.0 (which does not exist on this MB), so I tried to see the possible connections seeing the link that you had turned me to view the manual, but on the site HP does not appear the MB that I mount, I entered the ID of the PC and also the model, but comes out the manual that I think is the previous version. Since you are an expert in this field, could you give me some suggestions ? Thank you very much.

Regards,

Hi @Sconus,

You're very welcome.

I can't direct you to a known good Fan/ARGB hub as I have no experience doing this with your motherboard. HP uses a daughterboard for this function. Many of these add in products such as Corsair or NZXT are closed systems which only work with the manufacturer's product line (RGB fans and RGB strips). Some hubs work with Asus Aura, or Gigabyte RGB Fusion, or MSI Mystic Light RGB software.

Some hubs have a remote which can be used to control colors.

You have a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. You could try a USB 2.0 splitter, one female to the MB header, two male connectors for front USB and the hub. You also need a spare SATA power connection to the hub.

There are too many variables at play.

Create a new topic. Maybe a different forum member has hand on experience adding more fans and ARGB to your motherboard (MB) after moving this MB to a different case.

Regards
