Upgrade

Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi

I purchased the omen 880-011na for my son a couple of years ago and now he’s  saying it needs upgrades is there anything I can do? Sorry I’m a builder by trade and haven’t got a clue any help would be great

You need to ask him what is his need because it is a powerful machine already. Kids want the whole world. Two things you can upgrade now:

 

   (a) RAM: from 8GB to 32GB using 2 sets (4 pieces) of the following compatible RAM (will run at 2400MHz)

   (b) CPU: Upgrade to AMD Ryzen7-1800X (Summit Ridge) 3.6 GHz, 8 cores/16 threads processor.

He is says its lagging running slow dropping frame and kicking him out of games
