Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Looking for help with a HP Pavilion gaming desktop AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Graphics. I want to upgrade it to the AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega 11 Grapics. The motherboard is Sunflower MB 17516-1 Rev. A. I installed it today, and the computer is saying no HDMI signal coming to the monitor. After making sure thing were plugged in correctly and getting the same message, I converted it back to its original CPU. Now it works, so I’m guessing I did something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

@CD241 , welcome to the Community.

Here is the Motherboard Specifications page for the computer: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-gaming-desktop-pc-690-0000a/37730935/model/22909853...

If you look at the section titled "Processor upgrade information" you will find a list of compatible processors.  The Ryzen 5 3400G is not on the list.  The processors on the list have been fully tested to assure they are compatible with the motherboard.  HP has their motherboards made to their specifications.  They use them in many different models with different configurations.

Ryzen 3000's series are not supported on that motherboard, I upgraded mine to 2600, but 2700 is also an option, both very good too, unfortunately a bit expensive now with all that hardware shortages.
